Yes I know we haven't had really cold weather yet and I had the rag top down and was tooling around in 60 degree weather last week.....BUT, I was just remembering my longing for a bit of nip in the air when my wife reminded me of the last 2 winters when I said I wanted to move to Florida.
Remember the big snows? I have included time lapse videos of the Washington DC area's BIG SNOWS below.
You can tell that we don't get much snow when it becomes a national news story, much to the amusement of my sister in Michigan and my cousin outside Syracuse.
We are not wimps. Almost no one who lives in Northern VA comes from here. We come from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Montana, or North Dakota.... places where you actually learn how to change a tire or plant beans.
However, be careful making fun of our capitol's efforts at snow removal...the powers that be may raise your taxes to pay for it.
Here are two amateur time lapse videos that capture the storm. Note the teddy bear sitting on the table at the beginning of this one:

This one is from Arlington Virginia posted by a news service that makes you suffer through a 20 second commercial first.... turn your sound down: myfoxdc
