Northern Virginia Realtors: Please Don't Call Me for Feedback :-)

Please Don't Call Me for Feedback :-)

A short rant that I make to myself daily:

jan and Steve Bachman RE/MAXListing agent- "Hi Steve, you showed my listing 143672 Apple Blossom Ferry Run Drive South East ...4 days ago...any Feedback."

Steve: " No Freddy...I have shown 34 homes since then and I am driving. Email me the listing and I will see what I can do.

All I know is that we're not writing an offer on it otherwise I would have called you ASAP, probably before I left the property's driveway"

Actually I am  a very fun guy and much nicer than this, but COME ON...!!! I cannot keep track of all the showings when the buying season is hot and I don't have time to give 34 verbal responses from me the listing and/or better yet auto generated, easy check back response form. We use Showing Time:

It is truly awesome...clients love it and it does more than send feedback emails automatically.

Peace and Joy

This is why I make notes on the listings I show.  I don't ever want to be caught not having feedback.  Every chance to interact with an agent and them have a positive feeling about me when we part is a win for me.

Good evening Steve and Jan Bachman,

I'm like Chris Ann Cleland I never want to be caught not giving feedback. I like the opportunity to interact with agents and it has always served me well especially when I'm in a multiple offer situation and I have a good repore with the listing agent! As a listing agent I have a good memory too! LOL!!

Our MLS does an automatic request for properties you show.   Comes in your E-Mail

Even with our automated online system in Oklahoma City, mkuch of the feedback is useless. I also agree that we do show a lot of property to try to remember. If they didn't want a second showing that is feedback enough for me.

Good morning Steve. I always felt the same way. If the buyers liked the home I would be hearing from their agen with an offer.
